Eastman Kodak Company – is one of the largest corporations in the world involved in the production of photographic and film equipment. He also produced photographic materials, including chemicals. The company was founded by the inventor George Eastman and investor Henry A. Strong in 1881 as The Eastman Dry Plate and Film Company. The company’s headquarters is in Rochester, New York, in the United States. Starting from the 20s of the last century, the group has incorporated many smaller producers into its structures and has branches in many countries.

In 2012, Kodak filed for bankruptcy protection. The company managed to pay off its outstanding debts, carried out a restructuring and in 2013 announced that the threat of bankruptcy had passed.
