Kodak 620 Model-C was produced at the German factory Kodak A.G. Dr. Nagel-Werk, Stuttgart witch bought in 1932 by Kodak. Kodak 620 was produced from 1933 to 37. As for the name, it seems that the Six20 has been translated into 620, and the “Model C” is already more mysterious, because models A and B probably have not been produced. In addition, in the network I found a similar camera marked Kodak Vollenda 620 produced in 1934-39, as well as Kodak Duo 620 produced in 1933-39. Kodak always produces many versions of the same type.
But Kodak 620 is a foldable camera, adapted to film type 120 and has a frame size of 6×9 cm. The apparatus, according to the literature, was usually equipped with a Pronto snapshot.
My camera looks similar, but it equipment with a Compur shutter. It is marked as Kodak 620 without the any C model designations.
- Body without s / n, at the back there is a flap with the word in French.
- The lens was painted, only “Kodak Anastigmat” could be read.
- Adjustable aperture from 4.5 to 32
- Shutter times from 1/1, 1/2, 1/5, 1/10, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, 1/250, T and B times.
- Distance adjustment by screwing the lens from a distance of 1.5 m
- The camera was non-operationa (the curtain was blocked, the lens transport mechanism was damaged).
