Under the brand name company Beirette camera-Fabrik Woldemar Beier produced in the GDR in the years 1958 – 1980 35mm many compact camera models.
The factory was nationalized in 1980 and has been incorporated into the Combine VEB Pentacon Dresden. Started the production of electronic cameras that were manufactured there until 1988.
Beirette Electronic Model was produced since 1981, the model was equipped with an adjustable aperture, and light level was indicated by the LED in the viewfinder. Range of shutter speeds from 4 to 1 / 500 second. Lens – Meritar 2,8 / 42mm.
