Gossen Sixtomat is quite an interesting design of a selenium light meter for amateurs. The Gossen company still produces, light meters are even more interesting, but only for professionals. Amateurs no longer need light meters. The Sixtomat was produced since 1950 in several versions. According to the instruction [instruction on Butkus], the gauge needle was used to give the number, then result was used to set the exposure parameters. In my version [3106 and camerapedia], where the knob was adjusted so that the line shown in the window corresponds to the current meter reading. And then it was possible to read the parameters of the exposure. Before measuring, set the film sensitivity, but this dial is blocked, which is said to be a typical malfunction. There is still a Color Finder in the under the flap section, but the color template is already so damaged that you can’t use this feature.
