TP-2, TP-3 and probably TP-4 point-contact transistors are mounted in a similar housing. But on retrodekan.eu, I found that some of the alloy-junction transistors were also mounted in the same housing. Actually, I don’t know what’s in the casing and I’m not going to cut it open. The number 9 on the caseback suggests little was done and the tester result also suggests an alloy-junction transistor. Fortunately, it works.
