It was the first mass-produced transistor by Raytheon and developed by Norman Krim. its price was initially (in 1953) as high as $ 7.60, but in 1956 it fell to $ 0.99. My case is not in perfect condition, but you can read the manufacturer’s name and part of the type name (the last digit is practically invisible, it could be CK721). The casing is made of black plastic, so the exhibit is a CK722 from the first half of the 1950s. Later copies received a metal casing. Despite the passage of years, the tester shows that its parameters are quite good.
